Hollow Form in Walnut root

This nice piece is made of a root of european walnut, hollowed out through a dead branch hole which grows naturally. This hole was 25mm in Diameter. The hollowing process was made with selfmade hollowing tools. This tools give me the option making the tool fitting the form, instead of making the form fitting the tool.

Surface: 3 Layers finishing oil, then polished to a high glossy finish. The last polishing Step was Carnauba wax.
