Hollow forms, Vases and Urns

Hollow forms are one of my big passion. If I grab an outstanding lump of wood, I often can't get around making a hollow form of it. That wooden vessels different in wood species as well as in form, opening-size and the way how the rotationally symmetrical forms get their own outstanding appearance. Some are carved, milled, pierced, bleached, stained, structured, just to nam a few variations. These objects being worked on for weeks or months from the very beginning, over the turning, drying, sculpturing and finishing phases. Once finished they are pleasant to look at for many decades.
